Our Experience and Leadsership
Cushay & Associates is led by seasoned professionals with decades of hands-on experience in accounting, auditing, financial management, and capacity building.
Our leadership is strengthened by Mr. John Teye Quarshie, whose career spans professional practice, financial management, auditing, and academic instruction. His experience includes teaching accounting, corporate governance, internal control and auditing at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), where he also served as a consultant on major institutional projects, and contributed to the development of future finance and management professionals. This academic background reinforces our firm’s emphasis on sound technical knowledge, ethical standards, and continuous professional development.
In addition, Mr. Quarshie previously led the Auditing team at Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC), overseeing audit processes within a large public sector institution. This role provided extensive exposure to governance frameworks, internal controls, public sector accountability, and risk management, experience that directly informs our audit and assurance work today.
